I like the cold. Well, I don't mind the cold. It's invigorating and if you're busy working (for someone with hormone levels like mine) it really can be a relief. I wish we had gotten some significant snow this year. There was a dusting back in December, but that hardly counts. There is still a possibility. We had snow in March last year.

But, this unseasonably warm winter has me itching for Spring. The showing of daffodils and crocuses (crocii?) has been disappointing. I'm wondering if there was not enough cold weather. More likely it is my lack of ever fertilizing them or in any way caring for them that is the true culprit. Thank goodness I have my mom to guide me about such things. I now know that you can't expect a plant to be faithful year after year without showing you care just a little bit. So I'll be searching for a "how to boost your blooms" site and link it to here so next year will be fabulous.
